Checking Stands
Overview
Checking stands allow for fast accurate measurement of diameter, bell mouth, conical form, barrel shape, and roundness features. When using a checking stand, it is not necessary to find the reversal point.
Checking Stand (MST-58): Best for small workpieces, this checking stand has a measuring stroke of 0 - 40mm. This stand can be used with any of the add-ons listed below.
Universal Checking Stand (MST-102): The first choice for large workpieces, this checking stand features a 100 x 100mm plated and has a measuring stroke of 0 - 130mm. Platens are also available in 100 x 130mm and 100 x 160mm. Jib arms can be used to accommodate larger workpieces and BMD-floating holders. This stand can be used with any of the add-ons listed below.
Add-ons
Clamp-on-vee (MST-VA): The simple clamp-on-vee accurately locates parts for superior repeatability.
Perforated Platen (MST-MT-80): This attachment can be used when checking through bores up to 13mm in diameter. Custom perforated platens are available upon request.
